Founded in 2008 by the Bangash family, Northwest Minerals (Pvt) Ltd is a leading Pakistani talc exporting company based in Peshawar, strategically located at the gateway to Afghanistan’s rich talc sources, near Pakistan’s key domestic deposits at Abbottabad and Parachinar regions.

Quality Control
- Commitment to Quality from the Source: Quality control starts at the origin. We meticulously select deposits and enforce strict procedures during mining, handling, transportation, and storage to ensure no contamination.
- On-Site Geological Monitoring: Our experienced geologists perform regular in-situ evaluations to assess geological and mineralogical conditions, ensuring only premium-grade talc ore is extracted for processing.
- Selective Mining & Initial Sorting: Talc is selectively mined from open-pit deposits and hand-sorted on-site. It is then classified into granulometric sizes at the mine depot before being transported to our Peshawar facility for further refinement.
- Rigorous Testing & Screening: Upon arrival at our Peshawar facility, every batch undergoes systematic testing by our Quality Control team, evaluating:
- Whiteness
- Loss on Ignition (LOI)
Further asbestos and chemical analyses are conducted by accredited external laboratories to meet international safety and compliance standards.
